Attingal

Attingal is a town in Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala State, India.
It is the second biggest town in Thiruvananthapuram District. Headquarters of Chiyrinkil Taluk. National Highway (NH47) is passing through this town. It is the main stop between Thiruvananthapuram and Quilon (Kollam). This place also had a historic movement, Attingal Revolution was the first revolution against the British East India Company. This place is also well known for private education.
Trivandrum Airport (TRV) 35 km. Has excellent bus services covering the entire Kerala state.
Railway station, Chyrinkil 5 km, or Varkala 15 km.

Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Thiruvananthapuram Located inside the East Fort in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of the State of Kerala in India is the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture. It is believed to be the world’s richest temple. The history of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple dates back to 8th century.
